Geo-Adventures & Training

Geo-Adventures with TGS

Mixing work and play as a means to share our knowledge and excitement of the geological sciences with others, Taylor GeoServices (TGS) provides Geo-Adventures. Trips range from local day or weekend trips in Pennsylvania, to more adventurous expeditions in the southwest United States.  Whether visiting a local outcrop, finding dinosaur bones in the four corners, or viewing geologic landscapes on a mountain bike, these are trips you will never forget.

Below are some of the geo-adventures we provide. We can also customize a trip just for you or your organization.

  • Wissahickon Valley, Philadelphia; classic metamorphic geology outcrops

  • Mineral Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania

  • Four Corners, Southwest United States; Anasazi ruins & dinosaur bones

  • San Juan Mountains, Colorado; 4wd & mineral collecting

  • Mountain Bike some of the greatest geology in the world: Moab Utah, Durango & Crested Butte Colorado; Upper Peninsula of Michigan; Cape Town South Africa.
