Old School Geologists + A Growing, Talented Team = A Solid Past & Present, With A Bright Future!

Taylor GeoServices (TGS) was started in 2000 by Jim Taylor to provide Geology, Hydrogeology and Environmental Services to a growing base of preferred clients. Andrew Sokol joined the firm in 2004, solidifying core environmental and geologic practices while expanding in to the solid waste and landfill services. Michael Napolitan soon followed, bringing his geology know how and advanced technical edge to the team.

TGS now employs an incredible group of young and old professionals. TGS principals have been working in the environmental and geoscience fields since the mid 1980’s. These old school work ethics and experience are passed down to our growing and enthusiastic younger staff. Still geology centric at our core, each member brings a unique skill set. We are a team to be called upon, whether you need a PG, LSRP, a scientist, or expertise in hydrogeology, landfills, regulatory compliance, permitting, due diligence, sampling, remediation, land planning, GIS, watershed management, geothermal testing, drone flights, health & safety, building materials testing, or energy resources.

Our knowledge, commitment, responsiveness and quality has gained Taylor GeoServices a solid reputation; being one which maintains long term working relationships and attracts many new clients. From our beginning TGS has advanced with a stable foundation and continued steady growth. Our organizational structure and skill set are tailored to adapt to the ever changing economic and industry landscape.

We offer our brand of local service nationwide. Our corporate office is in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area. Together with our satellite and associate's offices located around the country, Taylor GeoServices is positioned to assist clients on projects throughout Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic region, and the nation.
